Welcome to Anne McHale MW’s D6 Support Workshop Series – two online trainings to point you in the right direction for researching your D6 assignment so that you can maximise your marks in this crucial final module of the WSET Diploma.
🍷 PLEASE NOTE – WSET rightly have very strict rules on collusion and plagiarism, so these trainings are NOT designed to write the assignment for you or to replace the need for your own independent research.
🍷 Further discounts are available for Anne’s Diplomatherapy members – the codes have been posted in the group forum.
🍷 They will, however, be an incredibly useful supplementary resource to spark further ideas and critical thinking of your own, as well as assist with the practical elements of planning and executing an independent research project – particularly useful if you are new to this kind of project.
🍷 Masterclasses will be recorded and a replay available afterwards for all registrants

D6 Workshop Series:
D6 Technique Workshop with Anne McHale MW
This training took place live on Monday 6th November but by signing up now you will still be sent the recording and all other relevant info from the session. We covered a lot of material!
£47

Anne is best-known for helping students tackle the D3, D4 and D5 modules via her popular study programmes – but last year she ran her first very successful D6 workshop and wanted to continue helping people to maximise their mark in this module, as although it is worth just 10% of the final grade, it can make the difference between an overall Pass/Merit or a Merit/Distinction, and since many students approaching this module have not carried out independent academic research before, they can benefit from extra support.
As mentioned above, the workshop is NOT designed to write the assignment for you!
It WILL, however, leave you much feeling much more confident in how you can locate the correct type of resources yourself. You’ll also feel clearer on how to evaluate and analyse rather than simply reproduce the source material.
Topics to be covered:
- Tips on finding sources and identifying themes
- How to apply the crucial higher skill of analysis, and what differentiates this from simple description
- Mistakes to avoid
- Practical tips to save you time when putting together your referencing and bibliography
- Proofreading and editing tips
- Q&A with Anne
In summary, this workshop is not designed to replace your own individual research, but to guide you in the right direction so that you can develop your critical thinking in a constructive way, as well as make sure you don’t lose any marks on the more ‘administrative’ side of the assignment like the referencing.
Connect with you there, either live or via replay!

Anne was a role model when I studied for the WSET Diploma and she remains an inspiration today. One of the best coaches I’ve ever come across.
